Our world is filled with greed and self-gratification.
Mostly, we think about ourselves and have no or little time for others. Once we are happy and comfortable, nothing really matters. Let’s try to mitigate this attitude of self-centeredness.
Many people walk around with much burden, yet without anyone to talk to. Sometimes, just a smile from you can lessen someone’s pain.
Just by asking ‘how are you doing today’ can go a long way to help.
It should not always be about you and your interests.
If it were possible to put ourselves in another person’s shoes, we would understand their pain. Let’s try to be more relatable. We shouldn’t be insensitive to the plight of others.
For those who say ‘once I am fine, I don’t care about others’, let me remind you that the world is unpredictable and nobody has it all.
Always try to ask yourself: what if it was me. Do not shun others because of their present predicaments. Lend a hand if you can. Be a listening ear if possible. Do not be too quick to judge. Be receptive. Above all, empathize with people.
